Our client is seeking an experienced NCK‑registered Nursing Professional to lead the setup and accreditation of a new Nursing Training College.
You will first serve as the Accreditation & Setup Lead, managing all regulatory and infrastructure preparations. Once the institution is accredited, you will transition into the role of College Principal, responsible for the academic and administrative leadership of the college.
This role is ideal for a senior nurse educator with strong knowledge of Kenyan nursing education regulations, NCK standards, and TVET requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
Lead the accreditation process with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and TVET Authority.
Prepare and submit all required documentation for regulatory approval.
Coordinate inspections and ensure the college meets accreditation standards.
Institution Setup
Oversee the setup of classrooms, skills laboratory, and library according to NCK standards.
Ensure all training facilities and equipment meet regulatory requirements.

Principal Role (Post‑Accreditation)
Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing).
Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Diploma in Medical Education or Technical Education.
Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in nursing education.
At least 2 years in a senior academic leadership role (e.g., Head of Department, Chief Clinical Tutor, or College Principal).
Experience with NCK accreditation processes is highly desirable.
Previous experience with TVET or healthcare‑training institutional setup is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Kenya’s healthcare training regulations.
Understanding of the Health Act and TVET Act of Kenya.
Strong leadership and project‑management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Ability to build partnerships with hospitals and health institutions.
High level of organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
