Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, adhere to professional standards, and contribute to a safe and healing environment for patients. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) guidelines and facility protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Provide health education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
• Registration and a valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• At least one year of internship clinical working experience.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
