Role Overview
This position puts you at the centre of our commercial relationships with healthcare professionals, acting as the primary link between our organisation and the physicians who shape patient treatment decisions. Your daily work involves understanding each customer’s unique clinical environment, building trust through meaningful dialogue, and translating that insight into sales growth that stays firmly within ethical and regulatory boundaries. You will be measured not just on revenue targets, but on the quality and consistency of the interactions you create across both in-person and virtual channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse territorial data to identify high-potential prescribers and opinion leaders, then prioritise your engagement efforts to maximise sales impact.
- Conduct value-focused conversations with healthcare professionals, both face-to-face and remotely, to uncover their clinical challenges, decision drivers, and unmet needs.
- Design personalised engagement journeys for each target HCP, adapting your messaging and channel choices based on their preferences and feedback.
- Build long-term collaborative partnerships with key opinion leaders and top medical influencers, challenging existing practices where needed to improve patient pathways and treatment timing.
- Collect and interpret customer insights from multiple data sources to dynamically adjust territory plans, account strategies, and interaction schedules.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop and deliver solutions that address real gaps in customer and patient care, while maintaining full compliance with our code of conduct.
- Capture and relay customer feedback to internal stakeholders so that campaigns, content, and product-related materials remain relevant and effective.
- Report any technical complaints, adverse events, or special scenarios involving our products within 24 hours of becoming aware of them, and manage marketing samples where applicable.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or another relevant discipline.
- At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, or an equivalent allied industry role.
- A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the changing market dynamics that affect prescribing behaviour.
- Prior experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area is considered a strong advantage.
- A track record of self-motivation, achievement orientation, and independence, with a clear customer-service mindset.
- Proven skills in engaging with key opinion leaders, managing accounts, and coordinating across functions.
- Strong commercial excellence, negotiation, and influencing abilities, supported by excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed ethical judgement, with the integrity to handle compliance challenges and the courage to speak up when something is not right.
- Fluency in English is required for this role.
