Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain patient data in EHR systems and paper files.
- Privacy & Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- File Handling: Scan, file, index, and retrieve medical records for appointments, admissions, and discharges.
- Auditing: Review records for completeness and accuracy.
- Communication: Coordinate with healthcare professionals to update records and respond to requests for information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Generally 1–2 years in a medical or administrative setting.
- Good in English communication with ascent and pleasing personality.
- Good in MS excel and MS computer typing skills.
- Good in Customer service.
- ICD CODES knowledge and skills.
- Diploma or Degree will be the qualification.
- Healthcare or clinics or Hospital experience will be added advantage.
- Healthcare education will be essential.
- Medical Terminology knowledge.
