Job Summary

Spacemine Holdings is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of materials, equipment, and resources across our project sites. Based in Kilimani, you will be responsible for ensuring timely coordination, cost efficiency, and seamless logistics operations to support our large-scale development projects.

Role Overview

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking deliveries to ensure that construction materials and equipment are available on-site exactly when needed. You will bridge the gap between procurement and site execution, supporting efficient project timelines through superior supply chain movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport Coordination: Oversee the transportation and delivery of construction materials and heavy equipment.

• Scheduling: Plan and schedule multi-site deliveries to align with project milestones.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers, the procurement team, and Site Managers.

• Shipment Tracking: Actively track shipments and implement contingency plans to ensure on-time delivery.

• Documentation: Manage all logistics documentation, transit permits, and delivery records.

• Inventory Support: Monitor stock movement and assist in rigorous inventory control measures.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve delivery bottlenecks, delays, or transit disputes.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all transport activities comply with company logistics policies and site safety procedures.

• Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize transport routes to reduce lead times and operational costs.

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, ideally within construction or infrastructure support.

• Planning Skills: Proven ability to manage complex delivery schedules across multiple geographical locations.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel) and logistics tracking tools.

• Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Kenyan logistics networks and supply chain workflows.
