About the Role
Our client is one of the leading brands of Kitchen & Home Appliances in Kenya, operating in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment focused on retail execution, compliance, and process efficiency.
They are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Key Account Executive / Assistant Key Account Manager to support the management of their major retail accounts. The role sits at the intersection of sales support, administration, and field coordination, ensuring that key accounts are well‑serviced, documented, and performing to target.
Main Responsibilities
Key Account Support

Assist in managing and supporting key retail accounts (supermarkets, chains, and major outlets).

Maintain regular communication with account representatives and store managers.

Conduct periodic in‑person store visits to monitor product placement, stock levels, promotions, and overall account health.

Support the Key Account Manager with meeting preparation, follow‑up actions, and action item tracking.
Sales Tracking & Data Analysis
-
Track and monitor sales performance across key accounts using internal data.

Prepare regular Excel‑based reports, dashboards, and sales summaries.

Provide basic insights on sales trends, stock movement, and account performance.

Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying slow‑moving or out‑of‑stock items.
Order Processing & Coordination

Assist in processing and monitoring orders through the company’s internal systems.

Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Follow up on order status, delivery timelines, and any service issues.
Documentation & Administration

Maintain organized and up‑to‑date records for all key account documentation.

Manage contracts, correspondence, circulars, and internal files related to key accounts.

Support the Key Accounts team with general administrative coordination and calendar management.
Accounts & Invoice Follow‑Ups

Assist in invoice follow‑ups and reconciliation with customers.

Coordinate with the accounts / finance team on outstanding payments, discrepancies, and credit notes.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, tracking, and basic analysis).

Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.

High level of discipline and attention to detail.

Strong written and spoken English for professional communication with key accounts and internal teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently.

Comfortable working with data, documentation, and operational processes.

Willingness and ability to travel within Nairobi for store visits and meetings.
