Description:
Genfocus UAE is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Estimation Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in electrical estimation, tender preparation, and cost analysis who are eager to contribute to successful project bidding.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing quantity take-offs, reviewing tender documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate and timely bid submissions. Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare electrical quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare tender pricing, bid submissions, and estimation reports.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and design teams during the tendering process.
• Maintain estimation records and ensure bids are submitted on time.
Requirements:
• B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• ADQCC Certification is an added advantage.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE with immediate availability are preferred.
• Preference may be given to male candidates.
Strong knowledge of:
• Electrical Estimation and BOQ Preparation
• Tendering Procedures and Cost Analysis
• AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and Microsoft Office
