Description:
A company based in Musaffah ICAD 2, Abu Dhabi is currently looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting and closing activities. This role is suitable for individuals with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic financial reports.
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of account balances.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of financial records.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations will be an added advantage.
