Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the ERP system across the company.
- Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor and report inventory variances.
- Coordinate and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual physical stock counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Conduct periodic spot checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with inventory procedures.
- Strengthen internal controls around stock management and recommend process improvements.
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and Factory teams to validate stock movements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards related to inventory management.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions and reconciliations.
- Support monthly stock validations, adjustments and reporting.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications are an added advantage.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in inventory accounting or stock control.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles and costing methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills
