Job Title: HR Manager (Manufacturing)
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong experience in manufacturing, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee performance management.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws.
- Support payroll administration, leave management, attendance, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate staff training, development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote workplace health, safety, and employee wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Option 1 – Diploma Holder
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum 6 consecutive years' experience, including:
- At least 4 years in a busy manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years in a busy service industry.
Option 2 – Bachelor's Degree Holder
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum 4 consecutive years' experience, including:
- 3 years' experience in a busy manufacturing industry.
- 1 year's experience in a busy service industry.
Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- HRIS experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
