HR and Administrative Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting human resources functions and administrative operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and people management skills, ideally within the healthcare or service sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee record-keeping processes.
  • Support performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Coordinate HR administrative tasks including payroll support and leave management.
  • Maintain and update HR Information Systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle day-to-day office administration, including correspondence, filing, and supply management.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Good Conduct Certificate).
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture through effective communication and team support.

Qualifications

  • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Medical qualifications or healthcare experience is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combined HR and administrative role, preferably in the healthcare or service sector.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and people management skills.
  • Proficient in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements

  • A valid Certificate of Good Conduct is required.
