Role Overview
This is a closing seat, not a coordinating one. You carry the commercial side of a ServiceNow services business — platform implementations, managed services, and custom digital workflow builds — and you are measured on whether signed agreements come out the other end. Success here means earning the confidence of German enterprise IT leadership, understanding where their transformation agenda is genuinely stuck, and shaping a services engagement that both wins the deal and can actually be delivered. Revenue growth for the practice depends directly on the quality of the pipeline you build and the deals you bring home.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales cycle for high-value ServiceNow services engagements — prospecting, discovery, solution shaping, value articulation, pricing, negotiation, and signature — across implementations, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, and tailored workflow projects.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline that spans both new-logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts, with CRM records clean enough that forecasts hold up under scrutiny.
- Map target accounts across the German corporate market and convert that mapping into a working territory plan with named buyers, buying triggers, and realistic timelines.
- Cultivate long-term executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and IT Directors, staying present across multi-year buying cycles rather than appearing only at renewal.
- Lead multi-stakeholder deal teams, coordinating presales consultants, solution architects, delivery leads, legal, and operations to produce competitive proposals and statements of work.
- Co-sell with ServiceNow field organisations and alliance partners, aligning joint go-to-market activity wherever it shortens the path to close.
- Produce quarterly and annual revenue forecasts with clear deal stages, defensible close dates, and early warning when opportunities slip.
- Negotiate commercial terms — pricing structures, contract vehicles, and service commitments — that stay competitive without eroding margin.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Five or more years of enterprise IT services sales experience, with a verifiable record of carrying a revenue quota and consistently meeting or exceeding it.
- Hands-on history of selling ServiceNow platform solutions and managed services — not merely adjacent enterprise software with ServiceNow as a talking point.
- C2 German is mandatory: native or fully fluent written and spoken capability for C-level negotiation, contract execution, and technical discussions with German clients.
- Professional working proficiency in English for internal coordination and partner communication.
- Solid working knowledge of the ServiceNow product surface — IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Customer Service Management, IT Service Delivery — and how each fits into a broader digital transformation agenda.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a fully remote setup, managing your own schedule, travel, and client presence across Germany without day-to-day supervision.
- Comfort structuring complex, multi-party B2B deals with long sales cycles and several decision-makers whose priorities do not always align.
- Formal education in business, information technology, or a comparable discipline is common in this role, though a strong, demonstrable closing record carries the greater weight.
What We Offer / Why Join
- A 100% remote working arrangement, giving you the flexibility to manage engagements across Germany without being anchored to an office.
- Close collaboration with ServiceNow field teams and alliance partners — a network that opens doors and strengthens the proposals you bring to market.
- Ownership of a defined German territory, with the autonomy to build your own account plan and run it your way.
- Influence over the service proposition itself, rather than selling from a fixed catalogue someone else has already priced.
