  • Lead the complete employee lifecycle — recruitment, onboarding, professional development, retention, and offboarding — to create a smooth and supportive experience for all staff.
  • Conduct exit interviews that capture meaningful employee feedback, then translate those insights into recommendations that strengthen retention and workplace culture.
  • Create and refresh job descriptions for every position, as well as the annual staffing plan and organisational structure, to align with evolving business needs.
  • Champion employee safety, welfare, and wellness by offering coaching, mentorship, and practical support that builds resilience and motivation across teams.
  • Track and analyse employee-related data to generate monthly reports, presenting clear summaries and actionable proposals to the CEO on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage the performance management cycle, carrying out thorough reviews and assessments that drive continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least three years of hands-on experience in HR administration and procedures, ideally gained within a financial institution, Sacco, or similarly regulated environment.
  • A minimum of two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, with demonstrable skill in leading and developing staff.
  • Solid knowledge of business systems, employment law, and statutory compliance, with a proven ability to apply these in a practical setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, advisory, and coaching capabilities, enabling effective communication with both employees and senior leadership.
