Job Description

Role Overview

You will join our people operations team as a management trainee, getting hands-on exposure to the entire employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and performance management. Your daily work will keep our HR engine running smoothly: you’ll maintain accurate records, coordinate interviews, and support managers with reporting, all while building the skills needed to grow into a future HR professional in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR administration, including attendance tracking, leave management, and upkeep of employee records in our systems.
  • Support recruitment by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring experience from first contact to offer.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including collecting documents, preparing orientation materials, and setting up essential training sessions.
  • Maintain HR reports, trackers, and files, checking for accuracy and updating information as changes occur.
  • Help organise employee engagement activities, training programmes, and performance review cycles.
  • Respond to employee queries about HR policies, leave, and benefits, handling sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Carry out assigned HR tasks such as drafting correspondence, updating organisational charts, and ensuring documentation complies with internal standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Graduated in 2025, awaiting graduation in 2026, or expecting to graduate in 2027 — this role is designed for recent and upcoming graduates.
  • A clear and genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources, supported by relevant coursework, internships, or involvement in people-related activities.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail when working with data and documents.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for sorting, filtering, and generating simple reports; a willingness to learn new tools is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritise competing tasks, and maintain professionalism when handling confidential information.

If you are passionate about starting your HR career, we would love to hear from you. Send your CV and a convincing cover letter to [email protected] with the subject line HR MANAGEMENT TRAINEE. The deadline is 28 August 2026.
