Role Overview
You will join our people operations team as a management trainee, getting hands-on exposure to the entire employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and performance management. Your daily work will keep our HR engine running smoothly: you’ll maintain accurate records, coordinate interviews, and support managers with reporting, all while building the skills needed to grow into a future HR professional in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administration, including attendance tracking, leave management, and upkeep of employee records in our systems.
- Support recruitment by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring experience from first contact to offer.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including collecting documents, preparing orientation materials, and setting up essential training sessions.
- Maintain HR reports, trackers, and files, checking for accuracy and updating information as changes occur.
- Help organise employee engagement activities, training programmes, and performance review cycles.
- Respond to employee queries about HR policies, leave, and benefits, handling sensitive matters with discretion.
- Carry out assigned HR tasks such as drafting correspondence, updating organisational charts, and ensuring documentation complies with internal standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Graduated in 2025, awaiting graduation in 2026, or expecting to graduate in 2027 — this role is designed for recent and upcoming graduates.
- A clear and genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources, supported by relevant coursework, internships, or involvement in people-related activities.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail when working with data and documents.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for sorting, filtering, and generating simple reports; a willingness to learn new tools is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritise competing tasks, and maintain professionalism when handling confidential information.
