Job Title: Hospitality Management Trainer
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitality Management Trainer to deliver competency-based training in our Hospitality Management programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of future hospitality professionals through effective teaching, assessment, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver competency-based training in Hospitality Management programmes.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and training materials.
- Assess learners and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentor and supervise students during industrial attachment and practical training.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate industry trends and technology into teaching.
- Participate in student recruitment, institutional events, and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure proper utilisation and maintenance of training facilities and learning resources.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- TVET Trainer Qualification (TVETA Trainer Certificate) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years’ teaching or industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills.
