Description:
Medcare Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join its clinical team in Sharjah. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to a supportive healthcare environment focused on comfort, safety, and high-quality medical support services.
The selected candidate will work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive proper care and assistance during their hospital stay. The position requires empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow hospital protocols while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist nurses and medical staff in delivering daily patient care and support services.
• Provide assistance to patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and comfort needs.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across patient care areas.
• Observe patients’ conditions and promptly report any changes to the nursing team.
• Support clinical staff in routine care activities and ward operations.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient-related information as per hospital guidelines.
• Follow infection control procedures and hospital safety protocols at all times.
• Help maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for patients and families.
• Assist in organizing patient rooms, equipment, and essential care supplies.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient care delivery.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Nursing Assistant is required or preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring attitude.
• Genuine passion for patient care and willingness to support medical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• UAE healthcare experience will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain discipline, and adhere to medical protocols.
• Basic understanding of patient care procedures and hospital hygiene standards.
