As a Project and Technical Sales Graduate Trainee, you will join a structured, entry-level program designed to develop future sales leaders. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, job shadowing, and formal training, you will build the skills needed for a successful career in project and technical sales. While the program provides broad exposure across the organization, your focus will narrow to specific functions within Project and Technical Sales, with clear deliverables tied to the role. You will work under close supervision, with discretion to seek learning opportunities aligned with your development objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across different departments to understand overall business operations as outlined in the management training log.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in learning by completing all assignments on time and to the quality standards specified.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
- Assist with daily tasks such as reporting, data management, and handling customer inquiries.
- Participate in training sessions, mentorship programs, job shadowing, and workshops to acquire both technical and soft skills.
- Analyze existing systems and propose new ideas for improvement.
- Complete the training rotation within approved timelines.
- Proactively manage your relationship with your coach and mentor, regularly seeking feedback on performance and development.
- Show continuous interest and competency through training and learning for your target role.
- Complete all projects as per the trainee project terms of reference.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
- Education: University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with up to 2 years of post-university experience.
- KCSE Grade: At least B+ and above.
- Age: 28 years of age or below.
- Academic Record: Strong academic track record.
- Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership potential and excellent communication skills.
- Analytical Ability: Ability to comprehend operational practices based on theories and models.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
