Job Description

Role Overview

Reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager, this role helps grow the business by handling quotation requests, converting prospects into clients, and expanding the broker network. It combines active market engagement with day-to-day broker support, while keeping sales activity, premium collection, and product performance on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, recruit new distribution partners, and support their ongoing business needs.
  • Respond to quotation requests and progress prospective accounts through a well-managed sales pipeline.
  • Work toward product revenue goals while monitoring profitability and appropriate cost levels.
  • Arrange and attend broker meetings, resolve broker inquiries promptly, and help ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with the cash-and-carry policy and coordinate instalment premium financing business with the Finance team.
  • Prepare accurate, timely business and business-development activity reports, and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Apply relevant internal controls, policies, and procedures across distribution and sales activities.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of new products.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least three years of relevant experience, with sound technical knowledge applicable to the role.
  • A degree in a business-related discipline from a recognised university.
  • Progress toward ACII, AIIK, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to plan and implement business activities, understand market needs, and stay focused on results.
  • Customer-oriented, accountable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • An enterprising approach and commitment to building productive, mutually beneficial client relationships.
