We are looking for a highly skilled and resilient Finacle Support Consultant to anchor our core banking operations. In this high-stakes role, you will be responsible for the continuous availability and optimization of the Finacle environment. This position demands a strategic technician who can navigate complex system upgrades, manage intricate interfaces with digital banking platforms, and resolve high-priority incidents with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate brings nearly a decade of experience in mission-critical banking environments and possesses the deep functional knowledge required to support accounts, loans, and payments at an enterprise level.

Functional Responsibilities

System Stability & Incident Resolution

• Monitor system health, logs, and interfaces to ensure the Finacle core banking environment remains fully operational and secure.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents and performance bottlenecks affecting day-to-day banking activities.

• Manage the integration between core banking and surrounding applications, including ATMs, mobile banking, and digital platforms.

Lifecycle Management & Upgrades

• Lead technical support for system upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations to keep the banking platform current.

• Facilitate rigorous System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new releases and enhancements.

• Execute change management protocols to ensure all system updates are deployed with zero disruption to customer services.

Functional Support & Training

• Provide expert-level technical and functional assistance to bank staff regarding transaction postings, account management, and reporting.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and formal training for end-users to enhance system utilization across various departments.

• Analyze recurring user queries to identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure all system modifications and access controls align with banking industry standards, security protocols, and audit requirements.

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and provide data-driven insights for internal and external audit reviews.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to enhance the overall stability and efficiency of the core banking infrastructure.

Requirements & Competencies

Professional Background

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience supporting Finacle within a commercial banking environment.

• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core banking operations, including loans, deposits, payments, and interest calculations.

• Technical Breadth: Proven experience in production support environments, specifically regarding system patching and major version upgrades.

Core Skills

• Analytical Prowess: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues in high-availability, mission-critical settings.

• Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical IT requirements and functional banking operations.

• Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong grasp of banking IT infrastructure and the intricacies of system-to-system integrations.
