Technowave General Contracting is expanding its operations and is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting the tendering and bidding process by preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and assist in developing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions
• Review project drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for quantity take-offs
• Coordinate with site engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to evaluate project costs accurately
• Support the implementation of value-engineering solutions for commercial optimization
• Maintain organized documentation related to bids, quotations, and project estimates
• Assist in ensuring all tender submissions are completed within deadlines
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the estimation and procurement process
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
• Open to both experienced estimation professionals and fresh graduates
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and within tight timelines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• High proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
• Strong knowledge of:
• BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
• Construction drawings and technical specifications
• Tendering and project cost analysis
• Estimation software and commercial evaluation processes
