The selected candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality English instruction for IGCSE, AS, and A Level students. The role also involves contributing to curriculum planning, participating in departmental collaboration, and engaging in extracurricular activities that support the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach English to IGCSE, AS, and A Level students with high academic standards.
• Develop lesson plans and curriculum content to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Encourage classroom discussions and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assess student performance, coursework, and maintain academic records.
• Provide academic support, tutoring, and guidance to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and school committees when required.
Requirements:
• B.A / M.A in English with B.Ed qualification.
• Proven experience teaching English at IGCSE, AS, and A Level.
• Strong English communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging curriculum plans.
• UAE teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• British curriculum (IGCSE, AS, A Levels) teaching methodologies.
• Classroom management, lesson planning, and student assessment.
