Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a designated supervisor.
Duties and responsibilities entail:
- Collecting and collating data relating to roads infrastructure assets arid road works;
- Participating in inspections of road projects:
- Taking part in conducting site investigation:
- Taking part in locating suitable materials for roads works:
- Preparing and maintaining daily inspection reports;
- Taking part in materials testing and quality control, and
- Preparing daily inspection reports.
Requirements for Appointment
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering. or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution:
- Proficiency in computer proficiency; and
- Registered by Kenya Engineering Technology Registration (KETRB)as a Candidate Engineering Technician.
