You will be behind the wheel for staff, visitors, and program materials, navigating both city streets and rural routes while sticking to traffic laws and internal transport protocols. - Ferry authorized passengers—staff, consultants, visitors—and cargo to field sites, partner locations, and official appointments as instructed.
- Run daily pre-trip and post-trip checks, catching and reporting any mechanical problems or safety concerns right away.
- Keep vehicles spotless, roadworthy, and properly serviced, working with the transport or admin team to schedule maintenance.
- Log every trip’s mileage, fuel use, and destinations accurately; turn in monthly vehicle reports on schedule.
- Handle administrative errands like photocopying, filing, scanning, and delivering letters or parcels between offices and partners.
- Follow safeguarding and emergency protocols, immediately flagging accidents, near misses, security risks, or unethical behavior.
- Ensure insurance, registration, and other statutory requirements are up to date, and keep records audit-ready at all times.
