Role Overview
You will guide creative organisations through practical adoption of artificial intelligence, helping teams move from isolated experiments to repeatable workflows that improve both output quality and production speed. Day to day, you will assess current toolchains, design AI-assisted processes, run hands-on prototyping sessions, and translate technical capabilities into decisions that creative directors, producers, and editors can act on confidently.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit existing creative production workflows to identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, then map out concrete adoption roadmaps.
- Build and test prompt-based pipelines, custom GPT-style assistants, and automation scripts that support content generation, asset tagging, research, and review cycles.
- Facilitate workshops and demos with creative teams to demystify AI tools, capture practical use cases, and gather feedback on usability and output quality.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define success metrics for AI initiatives, tracking improvements in turnaround time, cost efficiency, and creative iteration depth.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and train-the-trainer materials that enable non-technical staff to adopt AI tools independently and responsibly.
- Monitor the evolving AI and generative media landscape—including text, image, video, and audio models—and summarise relevant trends into actionable recommendations.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects that test new AI tools against real production challenges, clearly communicating results and trade-offs to leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, or equivalent platforms, including practical prompt engineering and iterative refinement.
- Demonstrated familiarity with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom script-based workflows that connect creative tools and data sources.
- A clear point of view on how AI is reshaping creative industries—covering areas like ideation, pre-production, post-production, rights management, and personalised content—and the ethical and legal considerations involved.
- Proven track record leading or consulting on digital transformation initiatives, ideally within media, advertising, entertainment, or design-focused organisations.
- Comfort translating between technical and non-technical audiences: you can explain model behaviour, prompt design, and automation logic without jargon, and can push back on hype with reasoned evidence.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in a strategy, product, creative technology, or innovation role, with at least one measurable AI or automation implementation delivered.
- Strong project management instincts, including the ability to run discovery sessions, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver structured recommendations on deadline.
