Description:
A healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support dental professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient wellbeing and have strong clinical and organizational skills.
The selected candidate will assist in a wide range of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining strict hygiene standards within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist dentists during various dental procedures and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and ensure proper cleanup afterward
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
• Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide chairside assistance and support patients throughout treatments
• Ensure patient comfort and deliver a high standard of care
• Monitor dental supplies and maintain inventory levels
• Follow all DOH regulations and internal clinic policies
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility is mandatory
• Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting or a related field
• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
• Strong understanding of dental tools, procedures, and sterilization practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining patient records
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with dental software systems
• Strong focus on patient care and customer service
