Description:
1Password is seeking a motivated and curious Product Data Analyst to join its centralized Analytics team. This role focuses on understanding customer experiences, measuring product performance, and supporting data-driven decisions across Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional partners to build reports, analyze user behavior, support feature measurement, and deliver actionable insights. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career analytics professional who enjoys solving complex problems, learning modern data practices, and contributing to products that improve digital security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze product data to understand customer behavior, engagement, and overall user experience.
• Build and maintain dashboards that help Product and Technology teams track performance and business objectives.
• Support feature measurement initiatives and analyze the impact of product changes.
• Work with clickstream and behavioral data using analytics platforms such as Amplitude or similar tools.
• Conduct diagnostic analysis and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract meaningful data insights.
• Support A/B testing initiatives and help measure product improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams on data-driven projects.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and analytics best practices.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with data in analytics, business intelligence, or product-focused roles.
• Strong curiosity and ability to ask meaningful questions, investigate data, and identify insights.
• Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to write and troubleshoot queries.
• Experience with clickstream and behavioral event tracking tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
• Experience creating or contributing to dashboards using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Ability to conduct, interpret, and communicate diagnostic analysis.
• Basic understanding of A/B and A/A testing concepts.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to share progress, challenges, and findings.
• Comfortable collaborating with teams and seeking guidance when needed.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence concepts
• Product analytics, user behavior tracking, and dashboard development
• Data visualization, reporting, and analytical problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications:
• Beginner-level experience with Python or R.
• Familiarity with event taxonomy and instrumentation design.
• Experience working with SaaS or enterprise software products.
• Knowledge of modern AI and BI tools such as Omni, Claude, Dust, Hex, or similar platforms.
• Experience analyzing product performance, customer journeys, or digital experiences.
