Al Jarwan Exchange is currently inviting applications for the position of Counter Staff at its Sharjah branch. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity designed for experienced professionals who possess strong expertise in currency exchange operations, remittance services, and secure cash handling within the UAE financial services sector.
The organization is looking for customer-focused individuals who can efficiently manage daily financial transactions while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates with proven experience in exchange houses or similar financial environments will be well suited for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process foreign currency exchange transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle remittance and international money transfer services such as Western Union and MoneyGram
• Perform daily cash handling duties including counting, balancing, and reconciliation of cash drawers
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations as well as AML and KYC policies
• Maintain accurate transaction documentation and records
• Provide professional customer service and assist clients with financial transaction inquiries
• Support operational procedures while maintaining confidentiality and financial security standards
