Job Summary

We are seeking a commercially astute, target-driven Corporate Sales Representative to accelerate B2B client acquisition and manage institutional accounts within our specialized hygiene and sanitation manufacturing division. Your primary focus will be to secure and insulate long-term commercial contracts, driving our extensive range of cleaning chemicals and industrial detergents into hotels, hospitals, corporate facilities, and facility management firms. This role bridges aggressive frontline market development with dedicated portfolio management, overseeing the complete trade cycle from technical product presentations and custom pricing structures through to cross-departmental delivery coordination and revenue collections. We need a polished, results-oriented sales professional who understands chemical/FMCG distribution and can independently navigate complex institutional buying processes.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Market Penetration & Pipeline Growth

  • Identify, map, and pursue high-value commercial accounts, institutional facilities, and corporate consumers across assigned industrial sectors in Nairobi.
  • Generate cold leads, establish direct communication with procurement heads, and pitch technical sanitation product solutions effectively.
  • Formulate and deploy tactical field sales strategies designed to capture market share and outpace local competitor product lines.
  • Pitch the unique chemical dilution ratios, cost-per-wash benefits, and eco-friendly standards of our formulations to technical buyers.

Long-Term Account Preservation & Cultivation

  • Build and insulate robust corporate relationships with key institutional buyers to guarantee permanent contract renewals and consistent reorders.
  • Conduct regular diagnostic site visits to analyze client cleaning challenges and cross-sell complementary sanitation lines.
  • Investigate and resolve service delivery or product performance issues promptly to protect brand equity and customer satisfaction.

Commercial Operations & Fiscal Tracking

  • Compile official price quotations, draft supply proposals, and lead commercial contract negotiations within established margins.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal chemical production, warehouse loading, and logistics teams to guarantee accurate and timely client deliveries.
  • Monitor account aging schedules closely, executing proactive follow-ups to secure payments and support debt collections within approved credit windows.

Field Intelligence & Performance Analytics

  • Track competitor pricing strategies, newly launched formulations, market developments, and shifts in commercial procurement policies.
  • Draft accurate weekly sales activity records, pipeline conversion logs, monthly volume forecasts, and field travel logs for management evaluation.
  • Feed structural customer feedback back to the chemical production and R&D teams to inform future adjustments to packaging or product design.

Qualifications

Minimum Entry Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely matching commercial field. Professional sales or marketing certifications provide a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive, verified performance as a corporate sales executive, with clear preference for direct experience handling detergent lines, industrial cleaning chemicals, or specialized hygiene portfolios.
  • Target Achievement: Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding ambitious monthly volume, margin, and account acquisition milestones.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking sales metrics and PowerPoint for delivering professional client pitches.
