Job Title: Project Manager – Refrigeration & Cold Chain Infrastructure
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of refrigeration and cold chain infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on integrating solar-powered and renewable energy solutions. This role requires managing projects from concept through to commissioning while leading technical teams and ensuring optimal asset performance and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage refrigeration and cold chain infrastructure projects end‑to‑end, from initial concept through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary technical teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Oversee industrial refrigeration systems, asset management programs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Integrate solar‑powered refrigeration systems and renewable energy solutions into new and existing installations.
- Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years managing refrigeration or cold chain infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record delivering engineering or infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning.
- Hands‑on experience managing refrigeration systems and leading technical teams.
Certifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is highly desirable.
- T2 Solar PV License or equivalent solar installation and maintenance certification is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of industrial refrigeration, asset management, and preventive maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of solar‑powered refrigeration systems and renewable energy solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
