Clinical Officer – Paediatrics

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Officer to join our paediatric team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and newborn units. You will work collaboratively with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in accordance with national guidelines and hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients in the outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and newborn units.
• Provide routine and emergency medical care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
• Manage common childhood illnesses in accordance with national treatment guidelines and hospital protocols.
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals in patient management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Higher Diploma in Paediatrics and Child Health.
• Minimum of two (2) years' post-qualification experience in paediatric practice within a busy hospital.
