Clinical Officer – Anaesthesia
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Officer specialised in Anaesthesia to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective anaesthesia care across surgical, obstetric, and emergency settings, while actively contributing to patient assessment, monitoring, and post-operative management.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer safe anaesthesia for surgical, obstetric, and emergency procedures under approved clinical guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment of patients and formulate appropriate anaesthetic plans.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia, ensuring prompt management of any complications.
- Participate in post-operative patient care and pain management.
- Perform airway management and resuscitation during emergencies.
- Participate in the hospital's on-call and emergency duty roster as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine with specialised training in Anaesthesia from a recognised institution.
- Experience in administering anaesthesia for general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, and emergency procedures will be an added advantage.
