Job Title: Clinical Medical Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Medical Officer to join our busy hospital team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate management plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards as per the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Qualifications and Competence Required
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine & Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a busy hospital setting.
- Licensure: Valid medical practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council (COC) and in good standing.
- Clinical Skills: Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with the ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build rapport with patients.
