The Clinical Data Curator I role involves reviewing patient test requisition forms and medical records, extracting relevant clinical information, and accurately entering it into internal databases. This position is well-suited for detail-oriented individuals with a strong interest in healthcare, genetics, and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and enter clinical data from patient requisition forms and medical records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in internal systems.
• Communicate with ordering clinicians to clarify missing or unclear information.
• Support data accuracy across multiple specialties and case types.
• Assist with additional clinical data tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related field, or equivalent healthcare/laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Basic understanding of databases and computer systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in genetics, clinical research, or healthcare data preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Clinical data entry and medical records interpretation
• Database systems and healthcare documentation
• Attention to detail and data quality control
