Job Title: Business Development Manager – Security Solutions
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our security solutions division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling integrated security systems and services, with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Develop, periodically review, and implement the Business Development Strategy.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; promote the company's products and services to prospective customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging diversification opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with clients; engage periodically to understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure tenders comply with procurement requirements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop departmental budgets and implement cost-cutting strategies.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Set goals for business development staff; identify training needs, coach, and train team members.
- Ensure adherence to the sales procedure, including the pricing policy.
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines; counter-check and approve sales commissions.
- Closely monitor sources of prospects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Security Management.
- Professional certification in Sales & Marketing or Business Development.
- Professional training in Sales & Marketing.
Experience
- 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the security industry or a related field.
- Proven results in selling: Manned guarding, Alarm systems, CCTV systems, Access control systems, Security consultancy, and integrated Security Solutions.
Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and the security industry.
- Understanding of technological solutions and market dynamics.
- Computer proficiency.
- Customer support and team building skills.
