Job Title: Business Development Manager – Security Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our security solutions division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling integrated security systems and services, with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Develop, periodically review, and implement the Business Development Strategy.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; promote the company's products and services to prospective customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging diversification opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients; engage periodically to understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure tenders comply with procurement requirements.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop departmental budgets and implement cost-cutting strategies.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Set goals for business development staff; identify training needs, coach, and train team members.
  • Ensure adherence to the sales procedure, including the pricing policy.
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines; counter-check and approve sales commissions.
  • Closely monitor sources of prospects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Security Management.
  • Professional certification in Sales & Marketing or Business Development.
  • Professional training in Sales & Marketing.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the security industry or a related field.
  • Proven results in selling: Manned guarding, Alarm systems, CCTV systems, Access control systems, Security consultancy, and integrated Security Solutions.

Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and the security industry.
  • Understanding of technological solutions and market dynamics.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Customer support and team building skills.
