Location: Mombasa Road, Nairobi

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly dynamic, results-driven Business Development Executive to accelerate our commercial market footprint and lead enterprise client acquisition. Your primary objective is to systematically uncover new business opportunities, forge strong corporate partnerships, and expand the company’s customer base. This role combines high-touch relationship management with consultative solution selling, guiding enterprise clients from cold discovery and custom proposals through contract closure and ongoing account optimization. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, strategic professional who can confidently navigate complex corporate procurement processes and align technical capabilities with client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Acquisition & Revenue Tracking

  • Uncover, qualify, and convert new commercial opportunities within corporate segments to meet individual volume and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain deep professional relationships with major consultants, civil contractors, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Design and deliver compelling B2B business proposals, price sheets, and corporate presentations that clearly demonstrate value.
  • Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, managing transaction terms to secure contracts while protecting healthy profit margins.

Market Intelligence & Technical Coordination

  • Conduct continuous field market research to monitor competitive activity, evolving client expectations, and emerging opportunities.
  • Partner with internal technical and engineering teams to configure custom product applications that meet specific client project requirements.
  • Generate accurate sales pipeline forecasts, territory health maps, and market intelligence briefs for leadership review.

Account Retention & After-Sales Support

  • Execute timely, systematic follow-ups on all inbound client inquiries to ensure excellent customer service from the start.
  • Deliver high-quality after-sales support to reinforce brand loyalty, encourage repeat orders, and secure long-term client accounts.
  • Collaborate smoothly with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless, on-time project execution and complete client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a closely related commercial field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive, verifiable experience in business development or high-value B2B sales cycles.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding financial targets and enterprise account acquisition goals.
  • Availability: Candidates available to start immediately are highly preferred.
