Job Title: Category Manager – Maternity & Baby
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead the maternity & baby category at Kilimall. In this role, you will drive growth by building strong partnerships, recruiting top sellers, and executing strategies that expand the category across Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with maternity, baby, and toy brands in the Kenyan market.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture high-potential sellers to grow the category.
- Design and execute growth strategies to improve seller performance and drive sales.
- Provide continuous training, guidance, and operational support to sellers.
- Manage the full seller lifecycle from acquisition and onboarding to growth and retention.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for category expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the maternity & baby industry, e-commerce, or retail.
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan market and consumer behavior.
- Experience in business development or operations is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
