Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with lead teachers to support student learning, implement lesson plans, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere aligned with our Islamic values and British curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the British National Curriculum and Islamic studies.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities to meet diverse student needs.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers and parents as needed.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources under teacher guidance.
• Supervise students during breaks, transitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s Islamic ethos, policies, and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ages 2.5–17).
• Familiarity with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to the Islamic values and mission of Bayinah.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning.
