Job Description

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for maintaining external perception and creating awareness of the services and products with the aim of maintaining a positive image of the Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that CPF corporate events are well publicised and well covered in the media and internally.
  • Ensure branding of all CPF Group branches nationwide.
  • Collect articles to produce the internal staff newsletter.
  • Conduct research and surveys to advise the team on various perception themes.
  • Assist in developing agile media campaigns that will positively profile the CPF Group among key audiences.
  • Monitor media activities and prepare a monthly report on coverage received.
  • Support in coordinating the branding of all CPF Group branches nationwide.
  • Assist in collection of articles to produce the internal staff newsletter.
  • Assist in editing articles to be used or published for internal and external communication.
  • Conduct proactive public relations and external communication campaigns to build positive interaction with key stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Business Management, or a relevant field.
  • Certificate in Public Relations or any relevant professional qualification/certification and Membership to the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) professional body.

Experience Required

  • At least 1 year relevant experience in a similar organisation or busy function.
