Description:
Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Site Architect to join its Construction Supervision team in Dubai. This site-based position is ideal for architecture professionals with extensive UAE experience who have successfully supervised high-rise buildings and villa developments.
The selected candidate will oversee architectural activities during the construction phase, ensuring projects are executed according to approved designs, quality standards, and project specifications. Working closely with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders, the Site Architect will play a key role in delivering successful construction projects while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
This position requires a commitment to a site-based working schedule of 48 hours per week across six working days.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor construction activities and maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Review architectural details and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Verify that construction activities align with approved architectural designs and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare site reports and support project documentation as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8 years of total professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant UAE experience.
• Strong experience supervising high-rise buildings and villa construction projects.
• Previous experience in Construction Supervision or Consultancy is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai for 48 hours per week, 6 days a week.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction supervision and architectural site inspections.
• High-rise building and villa construction methodologies.
• UAE construction standards, drawings, and project coordination.
