ROR Roastery L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Officer (Coffee) to join its team in Dubai. The role is suitable for a coffee professional with strong expertise in maintaining quality standards, evaluating coffee products, and ensuring consistency across operations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of specialty coffee, sensory evaluation, espresso calibration, and food safety practices. The candidate will support quality improvement initiatives and ensure that coffee products meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality checks and maintain standards for specialty coffee products.
• Perform cupping sessions and sensory evaluations.
• Handle espresso calibration and support coffee quality consistency.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Provide barista training and guidance on quality procedures.
• Identify quality issues and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, or a related field.
• SCA certification is an advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of coffee quality standards and evaluation methods.
Strong knowledge of:
• Specialty coffee and cupping techniques.
• Sensory evaluation.
• Espresso calibration.
• Barista training.
• Food safety and quality audits.
