Job Title: Accounts Clerk / Finance Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle key transactional duties including payment processing, receipt posting, petty cash management, and compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Accounts or is progressing toward CPA, with strong computer skills and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payment vouchers for company expenses, vendors, and customs authorities, ensuring proper approvals and complete supporting documentation.
- Enter vouchers accurately into the accounting system.
- Oversee petty cash accounts, including disbursements and reconciliations.
- Post daily receipts and reconcile them against cash and bank records.
- Track transactions, verify deposits, and update client accounts.
- Generate end-of-day cash flow reports.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready filing of all vouchers and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and customs policies.
- Liaise with Operations on payment and receipt matters; review administrative requisitions against approved budgets.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounts, or CPA (must have completed at least Stage II).
- Proficiency in computer packages (e.g., MS Office, accounting software).
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position, office-based.
- May require occasional overtime during month-end close.
