Accountant / Senior Accountant

A reputed organization operating in the construction and aluminium façade industry is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, project costing knowledge, and experience in financial reporting within construction-related operations.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling complete accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance in coordination with management and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle project costing and financial evaluation of construction-related activities

• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements

• Manage banking operations including reconciliations and financial transactions

• Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain proper documentation

• Coordinate effectively with management, auditors, and external stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial procedures

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Maintain accurate records of company transactions and financial data

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

Candidate Requirements:

• B.Com or M.Com degree is required

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience required

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Experience in construction or aluminium façade industry is highly preferred

• Proficiency in accounting software and IT tools is essential

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and professional correspondence abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
