Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing statutory compliance, and supporting sound financial management. This role is essential to ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the company's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payroll where applicable.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including PAYE, VAT, and NSSF.
- Maintain the general ledger and financial documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CPA Part II or above (CPA(K) will be an added advantage).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Personal Attributes: High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
