Accountant – Paint Manufacturing Factory

About Us

We are a well-established paint manufacturing factory based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team on an urgent basis.

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with accounting software, particularly Sage 50.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Record and reconcile ledger entries, bank statements, and general ledgers
• Prepare financial reports, trial balances, and monthly closings
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations
• Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records
• Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and other statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, vendors, and internal departments

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time‑management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
