Description:

A leading law and notary firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in UAE-based legal firm accounting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

The selected candidate will handle core accounting functions including payable and receivable management, financial reporting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and coordination with internal legal and administrative teams. Strong confidentiality, accuracy, and communication skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice and payment processing.

• Maintain general ledger entries and perform bank reconciliations.

• Prepare financial statements and management reports.

• Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance in line with UAE regulations.

• Liaise with suppliers, auditors, and internal legal/notary teams.

• Manage payment follow-ups and ensure timely financial coordination.

• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a UAE law firm.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Experience with Zoho Books or other accounting software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Legal firm accounting processes

    • Financial reporting and reconciliation

    • Accounting software (Zoho Books or similar)
