Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in financial software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Conduct periodic financial audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
