Description:
A rapidly growing retail and e-commerce business in Ras Al Khaimah, specializing in perfumes, agarwood, sandals, and accessories, is looking to hire a dedicated Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are confident in handling end-to-end accounting functions within a dynamic SME environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of Zoho Books, including managing bills, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation across two retail store locations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Process payroll through the WPS system.
- Generate and present monthly management accounts to business partners.
- Handle reconciliation of e-commerce settlements, including cash on delivery (COD) and card transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience using Zoho Books (mandatory).
- Proven experience in UAE VAT filing and compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in accounts payable processes and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or trading businesses.
- Familiarity with Zoho Inventory system.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
