Description:
A well-established organization in Dubai is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to handle full-set accounting responsibilities and manage day-to-day financial operations independently. This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong grasp of accounting principles, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports for management, and supporting compliance and audit-related activities. Hands-on experience with modern accounting software and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complete accounting cycles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal management review
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit-related requirements
• Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation as required
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of accounting records in line with company policies
• Use Microsoft Excel extensively for manual accounting work and reporting
• Work with accounting platforms such as Zoho Books and Wafeq, with flexibility to adapt to other systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (diploma holders not accepted)
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory)
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel is essential
• Practical experience with accounting software, preferably Zoho Books
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to manage full-set accounts independently
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an added advantage
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and execution focus
