Field Marketing Officer – E-Mobility (Kenya)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Field Marketing Officer to drive sales and market penetration for electric motorbikes across Kenya. This is a field-based role where you will be at the forefront of M-KOPA’s E-Mobility revolution. You will execute sales strategies, generate and convert leads, and build strong relationships with customers and local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies and conduct field visits to promote and sell electric motorbikes.
- Generate and convert leads through field visits, customer referrals, partner networks, and community engagement.
- Provide product demonstrations and guide customers through the entire sales process, from inquiry to purchase.
- Build relationships with customers, local communities, leaders, and influencers to strengthen brand presence and trust.
- Support marketing campaigns by distributing promotional materials and organizing local events.
- Collect market data, customer feedback, and competitor insights to inform strategy and improve offerings.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and field performance.
- Stay current on product features, industry trends, and developments related to electric motorbikes.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Direct-to-consumer sales experience, preferably in the automotive or two-wheeler industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Excel and mobile sales tools.
