Job Description

Job Title: VIE – Commercial Strategy Analyst – East Africa

Role Overview

To accelerate our commercial transformation in East Africa, we are streamlining the commercial function to better enable business development and operations teams. Deploying a VIE (Volunteer for International Experience) will provide critical capacity and specialized support to drive this transformation, ensuring effective change management across our entities. The VIE will work closely with the Cluster Head, who is leading this strategic initiative, to strengthen commercial capabilities, enhance process alignment, and ultimately position the East Africa region for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing competitor intelligence activities to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market dynamics.
  • Create and update informational documents relating to East Africa and related markets.
  • Evaluate market opportunities and propose segmentation.

Qualifications & About You

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest: Genuine interest in market analysis and business development.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
